My heart is a sweet lingering ivy
coiling our feet, wrapping our eyes and moving our words
across the thoughts of our skin
Vines of caprice caress the barks of our lungs
Our breathing as light as papyrus
Coarse, rough and beautiful
Our touch as flimsy as foliage in the rain
We surrender to the gurgles of light.
Every secret unfurls into the sultry wind.
My heart beats slow like the drips of an oil lamp.
Easy and natural
Light, deep and gentle
like the voices of honey
Is there a need to bite into the spice of soothsayers
Let’s just linger in the gentle moment’s of Time’s layers
